Kingvale

Kingvale is one of the few communities left in Tahoe that still retains its “Old Tahoe” character. Most cabins were built in the 50’s and 60’s and are on dirt roads, which are not plowed, making it hike-in only in winter. This fact may be responsible for Kingvale being more of a summer community especially since many of the cabins are on the Yuba River.
