Pla-vada Woodlands

PLA-VADA is a unique private community. Its name comes from being situated on the county line, with some land in Placer and most in Nevada County. Initially it was a community of snowmobile enthusiasts and only the main access roads were plowed. In recent years all of the roads are plowed, allowing access for cars as well as snowmobiles. The HOA provides water, sewer, trash, road maintenance, snow removal, a fulltime caretaker and a picnic area on the river. PLA-VADA borders the Yuba River on one side and is beautifully treed.
